Lucía Segura Santos nace en Santa Cruz de Tenerife el 28 de Marzo de 1967.

Desde muy pequeña destacó por su habilidad natural en las artes plásticas, por lo que cursó estudios en la ESCUELA  de ARTES Y OFICIOS de la capital.

En  1979 realizó  módulos, modelado y vaciado.

Dibujo y Pintura, bajo la tutela en calidad de profesor de Don Miguel Márquez

Mas tarde en 1984, cursó estudios con, Don Daniel San Luis en la sección metalistería: fundido y forjado.

Es en la ciudad de Tacoronte y de la mano del reconocido artesano Don Carlos Almeida,  donde se consolida y proyecta como artista  en la escultura, y como ceramista Artesanal,

Creativa Autodidacta, Lucia plasma en sus obras Sentimiento y

Fuerza.
Cada una de ellas refleja una época de su vida.

Lucía Segura dirige sus obras principalmente al mundo del caballo, el cual le fascina.

Sus Obras vendidas sobre todo, como premios y trofeos de prestigiosa categoría, para diferentes disciplinas, mundo al que se dedica en cuerpo y alma, y con el que está comprometida.

Esta convivencia queda reflejada en sus obras, en las que pretende transmitir al espectador,  la nobleza, energía y entrega de este magico animal.

Destacando, en otras, el apasionante deporte que practica el Raid: resistencia ecuestre, la cual combina, con el Manejo Natural y Psicología del caballo.

Lucía Segura Santos was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on March 28, 1967.

From a young age she showed a natural talent for art. so she went on to study at the ART SCHOOL (ESCUELA DE ARTES Y OFICIOS) in the capital, Santa Cruz, in 1979, under the direction of Don Miguel Márquez in modelling and sculpture.
Later, in 1984, she studied metalwork and wrought iron under the guidance of Don Daniel San Luis.

In Tacoronte, together with the well-known craftsman Don Carlos Almeida, Lucía progressed as an artist and sculptor, also developing her skills as a potter, and creating her works entitled Sentiment and Strength, each of the said works representing a stage of her life.

Lucía Segura focuses her work on the world of horses, which she finds fascinating.

Her works are marketed particularly as prestigious prizes for various equine disciplines, in a world to which she has devoted body and soul, in total engagement.

This closeness is reflected in her works, with which she aspires to transmit to the onlooker the nobility, energy and dedication of this noble animal.

Among other activities which she adores, Lucia takes part in long-distance cross-country events, which she combines with Equine Psychology and Natural Management.                                                                                                 January 19th ,  2009
