Railu Ladidi Tiamiyu viene del estado de Kaduna en Nigeria y actualmente vive y trabaja en Lagos con su familia. En 1996, obtuvo un BSCA de ingeniería química de la universidad de Lagos. Al terminar su servicio para la juventud en 1998, volvió a dicha universidad para cursar un Master.
Mucho antes de su carrera universitaria, desarrolló sus habilidades del tinte del lazo en el negocio de la familia. Después de acabar su segundo grado en 1999, decidió volver a trabajar para la firma familiar y fue cuando empezó su verdadera carrera en el tinte del lazo.

Después Railu se dedicó a la formación del personal en el arte y también llegó llevar dicho arte del tinte del lazo a un nivel único. Aparte de diseñar y teñir diversas clases de telas, también diseña trapos ASO OKE.

Es actualmente socia de la  “Society of Dyers and Colourists” registrada en el Reino Unido.

Railu Ladidi Tiamiyu is from Kaduna State in Nigeria, and currently lives and works in Lagos with her family. In 1996, she gained a BSc in Chemical engineering from the University of Lagos. Having completed her youth service in 1998, she went back there to take a Masters.  

Long before her university education, she learned her tie-dye skills in the family business. After finishing her second degree in 1999, she decided to go back and work for the family firm and that was when her career in tie-dye started.  

Since this time Railu has been involved in the training of personnal in the art and has also been able to take the art of tie- dye to a unique new level. Apart from designing and dyeing different kinds of fabrics, she also designs Aso oke chiffons. 

She is currently a member of the ‘Society of Dyers and Colourists’ which is based in the UK.
